Naveed has been working with the public sector, academia, research centers, and international development organizations for almost two decades. He is well-versed and writes widely in the fields of public policy, governance, urban development, and economic reforms. His current research and policy work focuses on entrepreneurship, public sector governance, public-private partnerships, and cities.
His experience as a Governance Specialist at the Economic Reforms Unit of Pakistan’s Ministry of Finance has equipped him with an in-depth understanding of complexities involved in policy making and delivering economic reforms. Naveed advises several public-sector organizations in Pakistan for formulating and evaluating strategic plans and economic policies.
Naveed holds an M.Phil in Economics and a Ph.D in Urban Affairs and Public Policy from the University of Delaware’s Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy and Administration.He has taught economics, management, and public policy courses in various universities and civil service training institutions. He contributes regularly to journals, conferences and newspapers.
